Privacy Policy

FluentWin is an AI English coaching app operated by its founder from Nepal. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, write to hello@fluentwin.com.

1. What we collect

• Account and profile: your name, your email address if you sign in, your first language, learning goals, and exam date. Guest accounts are tied to your device and need no email.
• Practice records: session transcripts, the mistakes the coach found, and your estimated scores. These are what your progress and feedback are built from.
• Device: a push token, if you turn notifications on.
• Usage counters: things like sessions, speaking minutes, and exercises completed.

2. Your voice

Your speech is processed in real time to run the coaching session: to recognise what you said and to let the coach respond. We do not keep recordings of your voice. Audio is only retained if you separately turn on audio retention, a consent that is optional and off by default. Transcripts of your sessions are kept as part of your practice records.

3. How we use your data

To run your coaching sessions, remember what you are working on, track your progress, adapt practice to your mistakes, send you the notifications you asked for, keep the service safe, and improve it. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Who processes it

We use a small set of service providers, and they process data on our behalf:

• Google (Gemini) and Deepgram, for speech recognition and AI coaching
• LiveKit, for realtime audio transport during sessions
• Resend, for email such as sign in codes
• Cloudflare, for hosting and media

These providers run in data centres around the world, so your data may be processed outside your country.

5. Payments

Subscriptions are bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The store handles the payment and we receive your subscription status, never your card details.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account in the app, it is scheduled for deletion and permanently removed after a 30 day grace period. You can also ask us to delete it by emailing hello@fluentwin.com.

7. Your choices

• Audio retention is off by default, and you can turn it on or off at any time.
• Marketing email is opt in, and every message includes an unsubscribe link.
• Push notifications can be turned off in the app or in your device settings.
• You can view and correct your profile in the app, and delete your account there too.

If your local law gives you rights such as access, correction, or portability, email us and we will honour them.

8. Children

FluentWin is for people aged 13 and over, or the age of digital consent in your country if it is higher. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
