What you practise

Every part of the test, the way it is set

Practise a part on its own with help on, or sit it under the real timing and rules.

  1. 01

    Listening

Form, note, table and flow-chart completion, multiple choice, matching, map and plan labelling. Real recordings, one play in the test, replays while you practise.

  2. 02

    Reading

True, false or not given, matching headings, sentence and summary completion, short answers. A reason for every wrong answer and the line in the passage that shows it.

  3. 03

    Writing

Task 1 charts, maps and processes drawn natively, Task 2 essays in a focused editor. A band for Task Achievement or Response, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy.

  4. 04

    Speaking

Part 1 questions, the Part 2 cue card with a minute to prepare and two to speak, and the Part 3 discussion, with the examiner's voice. Fluency, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation estimated after.

How FluentWin helps

Practice that knows where your marks go

01

A diagnostic first

A 54 minute check across all four skills sets your starting estimate, and your daily plan is built from it.

02

Lessons for every question type

How each type is built, the traps examiners set, and a step by step method, explained in your language.

03

Full tests under exam rules

Timed papers that keep the clock on the server, autosave as you go and hand in when time runs out.

04

A plan for the days you have

Set your target band and test date. Each day's plan picks what moves your weakest skill most.

Scores

Estimates you can trust

Every skill shows an estimate and the range it is likely to fall in, from your own practice. Your overall estimate appears once all four skills are measured.

These are estimates from practice, not official scores. Only the test owner issues an IELTS result.

Questions

IELTS with FluentWin

Does FluentWin cover IELTS General Training as well as Academic?

Yes. Choose your test when you set your goal. Listening and Speaking are shared; Reading and Writing Task 1 follow the test you chose.

How is my writing marked?

Against the four public IELTS criteria. You get a band for each, the reasons behind it with lines from your own essay, and a better version to compare.

Can I practise speaking without a partner?

Yes. The examiner asks the questions out loud, times your Part 2 talk and assesses your answers after the test ends, the way the real test is marked.
